Join the Rio Norte PTSA!

The Rio Norte PTSA has been an integral part of Rio Norte Junior High since its inception in 2003. Our PTSA serves the school and offers a unique way for parents and students to connect with Rio Norte and bond as a community. Here’s some of what we offer:

Programs and Activities:

• PTA National Reflections Arts Program: Encouraging creativity and artistic expression in our students, including an arts gala.

• Academic Recognition: Celebrating the academic achievements of our students.

• Student of the Month: Recognizing outstanding students for their hard work and dedication.

• Teacher Grants: Providing financial support to teachers for innovative educational projects and classroom needs.

• Support the 8th grade activities, Spelling Bee and more!

Volunteer Opportunities: The PTSA coordinates volunteers for a wide range of activities, including:

• Athletic Events: Supporting our school’s sports events.

• Social Events: Providing chaperones, snacks and supplies for dances or other activities for students.

• Educational Activities: Assisting with various academic programs and initiatives.

• Hospitality: Donations are gladly accepted for events such as staff breakfast, sports events, and more!

Membership Incentives: Joining the PTSA is not a commitment to volunteer. By joining our PTSA, you allow your voice to be heard. Student members will be able to receive our awesome monthly membership incentives.
